Our clinical efforts are primarily focused in gastroenterology and in transplant medicine, anchored by our anti-cytomegalovirus drug, maribavir.
ViroPharma commercializes Vancocin, a life saving drug for patients suffering from severe Clostridium difficile infection (CDI). Our mission, as stewards of public health related to CDI, is to do all that we can - in every way that we can - by working with physicians toward enabling quick identification and appropriate treatment of patients who are most at risk of severe disease, and to keep other patients infection-free.
